Walking into the reception area of  The Palette Bistro/Fine Art Photography is both welcoming and comforting.  Rich aromas of breakfast pastries or lunchtime breads and desserts greet you.  "It smells like my mom's kitchen," you say to yourself.  You know the focaccia bread, tomato basil soup and almost everything else is baked or made right in The Palette's small kitchen.

Greeting you  is Connie, owner of Fine Art Photography...taking a break from darkroom work, or Linda...busy cooking in the kitchen of  The Palette Bistro.  The environment of fine art gives the bistro's dining area a casual yet progressive ambiance.

You choose to sit at a table in the cozy, friendly dining room.  The decor is artsy and a little dramatic in red and black.  As you slip your red cloth napkin into your lap, you  think, "It feels as if I may be well taken care of in this bistro!"

In The Palette, attention is given to you as a patron, but it seems subtle--leaving the impression that time there belongs to you.
The feeling of comfort continues as your drink preference is brought to your table.  It is easy for you to begin conversation with your guest as smooth jazz plays in the background.  The environment seems perfect for a business or leisure lunch.

Delicious food is brought to your table and you realize with the first bite that the quality of food could be described as the "fine art of cooking".  It's hard to stop enjoying the food with just a sandwich and soup, so you choose chocolate chip cheesecake for dessert.  You want to take advantage of the delectable desserts you noticed in the pastry case as you entered the bistro.  Last, the thought of enjoying  a specialty coffee topped with vanilla whippped cream is too hard to resist.

Your thought upon leaving--"I may come back to The Palette tomorrow for that meatloaf sandwich--and the citrus smoothie!"
